Qualified applicants will receive the training and skills necessary to advance along a career pathway to full-time employment in IT and cybersecurity occupations.
Whether you’re a veteran, military spouse or transitioning service member, the Georgia Cyber Center WorkForces Program is designed to help you as you embark into the next chapter of your life after the military. The WorkForces Program will work with individuals who meet these criteria to increase or refine skills in IT and cybersecurity with formal training and work-based learning programs to build resumes, enhance marketability and prepare you for full-time employment in middle/high skilled occupations for life after the military.
The WorkForces Program will assist veterans and military spouses who want to improve their family’s life after the military by providing in demand, full-time IT and cybersecurity opportunities. Through the Georgia Cyber Center WorkForces Program, you will receive the training and skills necessary to advance along a career pathway to full-time employment in IT and cybersecurity occupations right here in the CSRA community.
The Georgia Cyber Center WorkForces Program is funded by a grant from the Department of Labor devoted to the economic success of the CSRA community by reskilling and upskilling veterans and military spouses for information technology and cybersecurity opportunities throughout the area.
How It Works
Whether you’re an underemployed or unemployed veteran or military spouse, you are eligible to participate in the WorkForces Program at no cost. Transitioning service members are also eligible to enter the WorkForces program after their military exit date at no cost.
