The Georgia Cyber Center WorkForces Program is a program funded by a grant from the Department of Labor devoted to the economic success of the CSRA community by reskilling and upskilling military spouses and veterans for information technology and cybersecurity opportunities throughout the area.
The WorkForces Program will assist military spouses who want to improve their family’s life after their significant other’s exit from the military by providing in demand, full-time IT and cybersecurity opportunities.
Through the Georgia Cyber Center WorkForces Program, military spouses will receive the training and skills necessary to advance along a career pathway to full-time employment in IT and cybersecurity occupations right here in the CSRA community.
The Georgia Cyber Center WorkForces Program will expose you to crucial feedback on resume preparation, interviewing skills and professional networking opportunities, along with re-skilling or up-skilling training in IT and cybersecurity skills, as you prepare to enter the full-time workforce. The WorkForces Program is designed to provide military spouses direct opportunities in the IT and cybersecurity industry that will enhance their overall life by providing job security, improved financial standing and necessary skills that won’t expire.
IT & cybersecurity skills for full-time employment opportunities
The Georgia Cyber Center WorkForces Program was created for veterans and military spouses to learn or refine their IT and cybersecurity skills for the vast IT sector opportunities right here in the CSRA. The WorkForces Program will take you through training phases so that you can improve the life of you and your family with career opportunities as you begin life outside the military.
Whether you’re an underemployed or unemployed military spouse, you are eligible to participate in the WorkForces Program at no cost with proof that you’re a significant other is a veteran. It should be noted that the Georgia Cyber Center WorkForces Program is for veterans and military spouses only, retirees or spouses of retirees are not eligible for this program.

If you’re a military spouse, you and your significant other veteran don’t have to leave the Augusta area to find your next opportunity. The WorkForces Program was created for veterans and their spouses to not only learn and refine skills but also to provide promising opportunities for full-time employment in a place they already call home.
By registering for the Georgia Cyber Center WorkForces Program, you will jumpstart a prosperous career in IT or cybersecurity following your veteran partners conclusion in the military. After completing the WorkForces Program requirements, you will be equipped with the skills and knowledge to begin your full-time career in the IT and cybersecurity workforce in the CSRA.
